Here on Hilton Head Island, the word ‘bored’ isn’t in our vocabulary. There’s always something fun to do, even if it’s just as simple as relaxing on the beach. Because who doesn’t consider that fun?
On a beautiful summer day, you can’t go wrong with these fun outdoor activities:
- Bike Around the Island
Hilton Head is a great biking destination with 60 miles of bike paths and 12 miles of beach to ride along the ocean.
- Ziplining Through the Trees
Fly along 8 ziplines with heights to 75 ft. and incredible views of the ocean plus climb suspended sky bridges and an aerial staircase.
- Go Kayaking or Paddleboarding
You can’t go wrong with discovering the natural beauty of Hilton Head Island with a guided kayaking tour. Learn about the local ecosystem and salt marshes from your tour guide.
- Rent a Boat for the Day
Enjoy being out on the water on your own boat with your family or friends!
- Drive a 2-seater Craig Cat Boat
There’s no better way to see the hidden treasures of Hilton Head than driving your Creek Cat around the South Carolina coast at speeds up to 30 miles per hour.
- Rent a Jet-ski
Who doesn’t love the exhilaration of a fun Jet-ski ride?
- Enjoy a Dolphin Tour
These tour guides know exactly where those cute little sea animals are hiding. Our dolphins are very playful and interactive. They love to put on a show!
There is nothing more exciting than seeing the view from above! This will be the highlight of your vacation on Hilton Head Island.
- Take a Trip to Daufuskie Island and Explore the Island on a Golf Cart
Hilton Head Island is boring. Said no one ever. But if you’re looking for empty beaches and exciting wildlife, explore our sister Island, Dafuskie. Renting a golf cart is the best possible way to get around the 10 mile Island.
- Go Horseback Riding on the Beach (Dafuskie)
This is definitely a bucket list item. Ride on the pristine white sandy beaches of Daufuskie Island.
- Go for an Evening Sail or Sunset Cruise
What better way to end the day than a sunset sail to just take in the scenery, relax with some music and cocktails, and enjoy the spectacular Lowcountry sunsets.
- Spend a Day Relaxing on the Beach or by the Pool
Last but not least, if you’re tired from all the activities, I saved the best for last. Doing absolutely nothing. Just soaking up the sun and laying on the beach. (My personal favorite).
